About Congress
The Retail Trends Congress returns in 2024. Over 1000 representatives from retail, industry, services and academia will meet in Warsaw on June 18 to learn, network and develop strategies for the coming year and beyond.
The motto of this year’s event is “New Opening, New Opportunities”.
The recent cost-price crisis has forced optimization actions and improvement of efficiency, not only in terms of costs but also in terms of operations, at all stages of the supply chain.
It has led to the modification of business models and the revision of activities in the areas of assortment, employment, marketing and sales.
It has also prompted companies to analyze the area of investment, especially those related to technology and digital transformation, as well as to reflect more deeply on the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in business.
Today, FMCG entities must consider how to most effectively use the opportunities that will be given to them by the predicted economic rebound and the (still gradual) increase in consumer purchasing power.
How to use modern business tools? How to learn from recent crisis experiences and translate them into increased sales volumes and margins? How to improve the company’s business model so that it is able to respond to the challenges of the future? How to understand the customer and their needs even better? How to work with suppliers and look for new product sourcing opportunities?
These are the challenges we will be discussing at this year’s Retail Trends Congress.
